The Suzhou Software Technology Park was launched by DLSP and Suzhou Hi-tech Zone in August, 2007.
The management mode of "Privately owned, Supported by the Government", in conjunction with DLSP’s rich experience in park layout, management and service, were applied to the development and operation of Suzhou Software Technology Park. With high construction standard and management level, Suzhou Software Technology Park is aiming at becoming the international service outsourcing base, as well as the service outsourcing center of east China.
Suzhou Software Technology Park, with a total investment of RMB 3 billion, is located in the core area of Suzhou’s scientific city. The first phase of the project, including the industry building with a construction area of 60,000m2, the apartment with a construction area of 50,000m2, and the training base with an area of 200,000m2, are completed and put into use. A power supply system with high capacity, two-circuit power supply system, emergency generator and top-class network facilities are available in all buildings. The second phase of the project, with a construction area of 90,000m2, is now under construction. The park is equipped with serviced apartments, a waterfront restaurant, gym, coffee shop, supermarket, bank, hospital, school and other supporting facilities. It boosts of beautiful environment, adjacent to a hill and the Nobel Lake Landscape Garden. By integrating functions of business, education and living, Suzhou Software Technology Park is a new software community.
In the 12th International Soft China, Suzhou Software Technology Park was among the first batch to be recognized as excellent parks in information outsourcing service in China. In May, 2009, it was listed in the National Top 10 Best Service Outsourcers by Chinasourcing, and has henceforth become the TOP PARK in the industry.
As a national software industry base and the main carrier of service outsourcing in the city, Suzhou Software Technology Park established the ITO, BPO and KPO industries, and serves as a platform for outsourcing talents, intellectual property protection and technical support, thus to promote the development of clients.
BenQ Guru, Freescale, Canon and other world famous software enterprises are now located in Suzhou Software Technology Park. In addition, Japan Fujitsu, India NIIT, France Eurofins, Korea Yetime, Oceansoft and other famous enterprises will begin their operations in the park in the near future.
