Google has announced that it has reached a cooperation with Ivyrevel, an online female fashion brand, in an effort to jointly develop an Android app, which will promote clothes to users according to their locations, activities and weather information.
The customized clothes design will be adapted to the latest activity information, and determined one week after users finish the input. The app will obtain the data via Awareness API and Snapshot API, while the users need to allow the way the app gets the data.
Currently, this app is in close test and will be available to all users in the fall. Jeremy Brook, the innovative business partner of Google Group wrote in a blog that, “Ivyrevel’s co-founder Kenza Zouiten had tested this app with some of the influential persons in the global fashion industry.”
Awareness API can also help mobile developers to create distinctive apps together with Beacon’s feature.
Though not all the fashion people intend to let out so much information though mobile devices, it takes great time and effort to have clothes made. So this Data Dress may attract some users.
