Great Lakes Tech Park Receives State Certification
The Michigan Economic Developers Association has announced that the Great Lakes Tech Park in Saginaw County’s Thomas Township has the qualifications needed to be a Michigan Certified Business Park. The organization says the Tech Park has the quality standards that make it a unique, first-rate business location.
The Michigan Economic Developers Association and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation established the Certified Business Park program to prepare quality business districts fcr securing business in Michigan. State certification assures park occupants of high quality amenities and services that surpass most business parks across the nation. There are about 65 Certified Business Parks throughout Michigan.
The Great Lakes Tech Park has 200 of its 231 acres available with free shovel-ready land for approved projects. The global headquarters of Hemlock Semiconductor and Duro-Last Roofing, along with Nexteer Automotive’s global technology center are located there. It’s at 705 North Graham Road in Thomas Township.
